Note | The following notes are taken from the PDF file received from Glyn Davies 19 Sep 2007: Edward was a 23-year-old bachelor Collier when he married Harriett, a 22-year-old spinster, on 13 August 1862 in Carmel Baptist Chapel, Pontypridd, Glamorgan. Both Edward and Harriett signed with their mark. The witnesses were William Evans and Elizabeth Lloyd, the latter also signing with a mark. William Jones conducted the ceremony. They had five children: Mary Ann Morris born in 1863 in Dinas, Rhondda, Glamorgan; died in 1934 Gwilym Morris born in November 1866 in Ffrwdamos, Clydach, Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan; died on 13 April 1869 in Ffrwdamos, Clydach, Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan Maria Jane Morris born on 15 January 1869 in Penygraig, Rhondda, Glamorgan; died after February 1935 Catherine Morris born on 22 April 1871 in Ffrwdamos, Clydach, Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan; died on 20 July 1951 in 27 Morton terrace, Clydach Vale, Rhondda, Glamorgan Edward Morris born in August 1874 in Ffrwdamos, Clydach, Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan; died on 11 April 1875 in Ffrwdamos, Clydach, Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan ONLY DETAILS OF CATHERINE MORRIS (Glyn Davies' grandmother) AND HER DESCENDANTS HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THIS DATABASE.
