They had three children which I will deal with in a moment. AALD was born on the 27th April 1905 in Santiago, Chile. She died in 1990 as a result of a brain tumour which her daughter told me developed as a consequence of the stress and anguish she suffered after her son's suicide. I have not been able to establish the exact date of her death.
