Citation details: Notes & Queries 14 rec'd from Edward 17 Apr 2010 Text: There is a marriage registered during Sep Qtr 1910, Neath, Glamorgan, 11a, 1575 to William E JOHN.
There is a birth registered for William Edward JOHN during Dec Qtr 1889, Neath, Glamorgan, 11a, 672, which I think is probably correct. There is a census registration for 1891 at 7 Ffrwdwyllt Cottages, Taibach, Margam that appears to match. It is a family unit made up of father, Thomas; mother, Elizabeth; and son William Ed. As far as I can establish these cottages were on the High Street. That is what it registers in the 1901 Wales census as the family is living at the same address although not sharing the house with mother-in-law [?] and other relatives. In 1891 father is a haulier; in 1901 he is an engine driver [stationary]. In the 1911 Census William and his wife are part occupiers of a property on the High Street. |
Death | between April 1935 and June 1935 (Age 45) Neath Registration District, Glamorgan, Wales
