Text: This is the last will and testament of William Williams of Sealand in the parish of Saint Brides Major in the County of Glamorgan Farmer made the second day of May One thousand eight hundred and fifty three.

I bequeath the following legacies that is to say to my daughter Catherine wife of Gronow John of Norton Hall farmer the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds sterling, To my daughter Ann wife of James Prichard of Wick farmer the sum of One hundred pounds sterling. To my daughter Mary wife of David john of Nolton Farmer the sum of Fifty pounds sterling and to my daughter Margaret wife of David Thomas of Lanmihangel Farmer the sum of one hundred pounds sterling and I direct the said Legacies to be paid at the end of twelve calendar months after the decease of Catherine my wife And in case either of my said daughters shall die in the lifetime of m said wife leaving any children or a child her surviving the I bequeath the Legacy of my daughter so dying as aforesaid unto her child if only one absolutely or unto her children if more than one in equal shares And I direct that the Legacy or share of Legacy to which any Infant may become entitled under this my Will may (if the executor for the time being of this my Will thinks fit) be paid to the Parent of Guardian of such Infant, whose receipt shall be a sufficient Discharge for the same And in case either of my said daughters shall die in the life time of my said wife without leaving any children or child her surviving them I direct that the Legacy above bequeathed to such daughter shall lapse and fall into the residue of my personal estate. And as to all the next and residue of my personal estate of what nature and kind soever the same may be and wheresoever situate I bequeath the same unto my said wife and my only son William in equal shares as Tenants in common absolutely And I appoint them my said wife and son jointly Executor and Esecutrix of this my will – As witness my hand
